After months of work, ZapLister arrives as a completely new version. This is not just another update — it is a full rebuild from the ground up, with a faster, more stable foundation and far more capabilities than the previous version.
Why did we rewrite ZapLister?
The previous version was built with Python and served its purpose, but it had important limitations: it was hard to maintain, did not work reliably across all operating systems, and its architecture made it difficult to add new features without breaking what already existed.
The new version is built with Electron and TypeScript, the same technology used by applications like VS Code and Slack. This gives us a solid foundation to grow and improve the product sustainably.

What is new
Works on Windows, Mac and Linux
This is perhaps the most important improvement. The previous version only worked reliably on Windows. The new version is a native desktop application that runs smoothly on:
- Windows (x64)
- macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon / M1, M2, M3)
- Linux (AppImage)
No browser extension or plugin required. Just download the installer for your system and you are ready to go.
All three modules in one app
The new version includes all three modules ZapLister offers:
- Items — general products to sell on the marketplace
- Vehicles — cars, motorcycles, trucks and more
- Houses — properties for sale or rent
Each module can be purchased separately depending on what you need.
Pipeline and task scheduling
You can now chain multiple automation actions and schedule them to run at specific times. Set up the pipeline once and ZapLister handles the rest, even while you sleep.
Local SQLite database
All your items, vehicles and properties are stored in a local database on your computer. Your data never leaves your machine.
Saved sessions and 2FA support
Log in to Facebook once and the app saves the session for future automations. If Facebook requests two-factor verification, the app waits for you to complete it before continuing.
Automatic updates
When a new version is available, the app downloads and installs it in the background. When you open ZapLister, you already have the latest version without doing anything.
Automatic error reporting
If something fails, the app detects it and reports it automatically to the development team. This allows us to identify and fix issues much faster, without any action required on your end.
Dark mode
Because not everything has to look the same. The app supports light, dark or automatic mode based on your operating system.
What improved after launch
Since the release of v1.0.0, we have continued adding important improvements:
- Real-time search and filters — find any listing in your database instantly
- Drag & drop to reorder — reorganize your items by dragging and dropping
- Bulk delete — remove multiple records with a single click
- Renew listings — make your active Facebook listings visible again with one click
- Automatic backups — the app saves a copy of your database every time you close it
- Multi-account management — add, edit and delete accounts directly from the app
- What’s New notifications — after each update, you see exactly what changed
How to update
If you were already using the previous version, the new version is a fresh download — it is not an automatic update over the Python version. You can download it from the demo page or from the link you received when you purchased your license.
If you are a new user, simply download the app from the Demo section and try it free for 16 hours before deciding.
