ZapLister Version Updates and Enhancements

Fixed an issue that prevented selecting the year on some vehicles.

• 🚗 Vehicle year not being selected — On vehicles with older years, Facebook's dropdown list did not load the correct option right away. The bot now types the year to force Facebook to display it, and if it still cannot select it, it clearly reports the issue instead of continuing with an empty field.

The bot now detects when a photo folder is empty or missing and alerts you right away, instead of failing silently at the end of the process.

• 📷 Empty or missing photo folder — If an item (product, vehicle, or house) has no photos available, the bot skips it and shows a warning with the name of the problematic folder. The rest of the items in the batch continue publishing normally.

Fixed an issue that prevented vehicles from being published in certain cases.

• 🚗 Vehicle year not being selected — On some accounts, the vehicle year field was left unselected due to the way Facebook loads its year list, causing the Next button to remain disabled. The bot now automatically retries the selection if the first attempt is unsuccessful.

Several fixes for situations that previously ended in unexplained errors.

• 🚫 Marketplace account restriction — If Facebook has placed a temporary restriction on your account, the bot now detects it and shows a clear warning instead of failing silently.
• ⚡ Button stuck on 'running' — After deleting items, the button now returns to its normal state immediately instead of staying in a loading state for several seconds.
• 📂 Image folder not found — If an item has no image folder configured, the bot now warns you directly instead of trying to publish and failing mid-process.

Stability improvements for users with slow internet connections when publishing items.

• 📶 Slow connections — Extended the wait time for photos to finish uploading before publishing. Users with less than 0.5 Mbps upload speed should no longer see failures at the final publishing step.

Several fixes to make the bot publish vehicles more reliably and handle slow connections better.

• ⏱️ Smarter photo wait — The time the bot waits for Facebook to process photos now adjusts automatically based on the number and size of images, instead of using a fixed time for everyone.
• 🚗 More stable vehicle form — Fixed an issue where the Year field could not be selected because an invisible element was blocking it. It now opens correctly in all cases.
• 🌐 Better tolerance for slow connections — If the connection to Facebook takes a while when opening the form, the bot now waits longer before reporting a failure, reducing unnecessary interruptions.
• 🔧 General stability — Fixed several cases where the bot reported internal errors when the browser was closed manually during a listing.

Several fixes to make the bot publish and delete more reliably, especially when photos or connectivity are involved.

• 📷 Photos from direct links — If photo links are invalid or there aren't enough, a clear message now appears explaining that at least 3 valid images are required, without logging it as a system error.
• 🖼️ Improved image compatibility — Some image servers (like Replit) send photos with an incorrect file type header. The bot now detects and downloads them automatically.
• 🗑️ More accurate deletion — When a listing was already removed from Facebook but the bot still searches for it, it now detects this correctly and continues without generating a false error.
• 🔌 Connection issues — If Facebook doesn't respond at login due to no internet, an internal error report is no longer generated — only a notice is shown to the user.

Fixed an issue that caused the bot to take up to 90 seconds per listing and ultimately fail when trying to delete them.

• 🗑️ More reliable deletion — If the Facebook notifications panel was open while deleting, the bot can now click menu options without getting stuck.

Internal improvements for better stability and clearer error messages when something goes wrong.

• 🌐 No internet — If Facebook fails to load due to a lost connection, a clear notice now appears instead of a generic error.
• 🔒 Chrome already open — If Chrome was left open from a previous session, the bot detects it automatically and shows a message to close it.

Fixed an issue that occurred when two listings had very similar names (one being part of the other). In that case, the bot would delete the wrong listing and then fail when trying to delete the second one.

• 🗑️ Precise deletion — The bot now correctly identifies which listing to delete even when names are nearly identical, avoiding deleting the wrong one.

This version fixes three issues affecting item and house publishing, and listing deletion:

• 🖼️ Slow photos on items and houses — If Facebook was slow to process images, the bot would fail when trying to publish. It now waits up to 60 seconds for the publish button to become active before reporting an error.
• 🗑️ Deleting listings on slow connections — On slow connections, the bot sometimes reported not finding a listing that had already been removed. Detection was improved to handle this correctly.
• ⚠️ Chrome closed during publishing — If you closed Chrome while the bot was running, an unnecessary internal error appeared. The bot now detects this and shows a clear message reminding you not to close Chrome while it is working.

This version fixes two issues affecting vehicle publishing and license activation:

• 🖼️ Large photos or videos — The bot now waits up to 3 minutes for Facebook to finish processing images before attempting to publish. Previously, if photos took a long time to upload, the publication would fail with an unnecessary error.
• 🔑 License activation — Removed a false alert that appeared when the license was active on another machine. The message to the user remains the same, but it no longer generates unnecessary internal reports.

This version includes internal improvements that allow bot errors to be identified and resolved more quickly.

• 🔍 Better error capture — When a form field cannot be found, the system now captures more page context, allowing root cause diagnosis with greater precision and faster fixes.

This version improves how the bot handles vehicles with incomplete information and Facebook loading errors:

• ⚠️ Missing required fields — If a vehicle is missing its body style, the bot now skips it immediately with a clear on-screen notice instead of trying to publish and failing mid-process.
• 🔕 Slow connection errors — When Facebook takes too long to load due to a slow connection, the bot no longer generates unnecessary alerts in the internal reporting system.
• 🔍 Better failure diagnostics — When the publish button stays disabled due to an empty field, the bot now captures more page context to identify the missing field faster.

This version fixes two issues that caused failures when renewing or deleting listings, and improves tolerance for slow connections:

• 🔘 More options button (···) — The bot now correctly identifies the listing it wants to renew or delete, even when the results list hasn't finished filtering yet. A second bug where the button stopped responding due to CSS hover state loss was also fixed.
• ⏳ Better tolerance for slow connections — The bot now waits up to 60 seconds (previously 30) for Facebook's form to finish loading before filling in photos, reducing errors on slow machines or unstable internet.

This version includes several fixes to improve bot stability when publishing and renewing listings:

• ⚡ Faster category handling — If Facebook fails to load category options, the bot no longer waits twice as long before moving on.
• 🏷️ Optional labels — If the labels field is temporarily unavailable, the item is published anyway without stopping.
• 🔍 Better error diagnostics — When an unexpected failure occurs, the bot now captures more page state information to help identify the issue faster.

We fixed several issues that caused intermittent failures when publishing items on slow computers or unstable connections.

We fixed an issue that prevented some items from being published when the Facebook form showed additional fields.

• 💰 Price field — In some Facebook form layouts, the price field was not found after expanding the options. It is now detected correctly across all form formats.

We fixed several issues that were preventing certain vehicles from being posted correctly on Facebook Marketplace.

• 🗺️ Location not found — If the city you entered does not appear in Facebook, the vehicle is skipped with a clear on-screen notice. You can leave the location empty to use your account's default city.
• 🚗 Unrecognized make — The make field now types the brand name directly into the form search, fixing failures with makes like Nissan, Kia, and others.
• 🔄 Form navigation — We now detect more reliably when the form gets stuck and report it so we can keep improving the app.

Stability improvements that resolve sporadic failures when publishing items and vehicles.

• 📂 Category for items with video — The category dialog now waits correctly when a video is uploading in the background, preventing the slow-load error.
• 🚗 Vehicle make — Brands like Kia or Volkswagen are now correctly selected from the make dropdown.
• 🔒 Identity verification — Timeouts during Facebook identity verification no longer generate unnecessary error alerts.

Fixed an issue that prevented account verification from working correctly. The Chrome window was closing unexpectedly right after entering the username and password, even when the credentials were correct.

This version includes internal improvements to detect and diagnose errors more accurately. No visible changes for the user.

We fixed two situations that in some cases prevented listings from completing successfully:

• ⏳ Category picker — on slow connections, the category menu took longer than expected to load. The app now waits for the content to be ready before continuing, no matter how long it takes.
• ✅ Group selection — after selecting groups, the publish button was not always detected in time. The app now finds it correctly before moving on.

This version includes several stability improvements based on user-reported errors:

• 📍 Location not found — if Facebook does not recognize an item's location, it is now skipped with a warning instead of showing a confusing error. The item stays pending so you can fix the location and retry.
• ⏳ Slow category loading — on slow connections, the category dialog sometimes did not finish loading in time. The bot now waits up to 20 seconds before retrying.
• 🔒 Expired session detected faster — when the Facebook session expires, the bot now detects it immediately instead of waiting 3 minutes.
• 🚦 Facebook redirects — if Facebook redirects to an unexpected page when trying to publish, the bot now detects it and shows the reason in the logs.

The group publishing fixes from the previous version now also apply to the vehicles and properties modules.

• 🚗 Vehicles — The bot now correctly navigates the vehicle form steps, selects groups, and publishes without skipping steps.
• 🏠 Properties — Same as vehicles, the house and apartment module now publishes correctly to groups.
• 🌐 Facebook in English — The fix also works for accounts with Facebook set to English.

Fixed several issues that prevented correct publishing on accounts with a two-step form (group publishing).

• ✅ Group publishing — The bot now correctly navigates both form steps: first fills in the item details, then selects groups and publishes. Previously it was skipping the second step and items were not appearing on Facebook.
• ⏳ Last item in batch — When publishing multiple items in a row, the last one is no longer marked as published before Facebook confirms it was processed correctly.
• 👥 Hide from friends — If an item has the hide from friends option enabled, the bot no longer tries to select groups (Facebook disables them in that case) and continues without errors.

Improved the bot's behavior when selecting the item category on Facebook.

• ⏳ Selector loading — Facebook sometimes shows a loading animation before displaying the category options. The bot now waits for that animation to finish before attempting to select, avoiding errors from acting too soon.

Stability update with minor fixes to improve app reliability.

• 🗂️ Category selection — Better compatibility with different Facebook category dialog variants

Fixed an issue that prevented the item category from being selected on Facebook when dark mode is enabled.

• 🌙 Facebook dark mode — An invisible Facebook layer was blocking the bot's clicks when opening the category picker. The bot now uses an alternative method to activate that field and the picker opens correctly from the first attempt.

Starting with this version, when an update is available you no longer need to do anything — it will install automatically the next time you close the app.

• ⬆️ Automatic install — The update downloads in the background and is applied silently when you close Zaplister. When you reopen it, you will already have the latest version.
• 🔔 Clearer notice — The new version banner now tells you exactly what will happen so there are no surprises.

This update fixes an issue where the app could not select the category correctly when listing items, especially when multiple photos were uploading at the same time.

Before starting a publishing run, the app now checks whether your item values are compatible with your Facebook account's language. If it detects a mismatch, it warns you so you can decide how to proceed.

ZapLister v1.8.0 improves the experience when activating your license for the first time and shows What's New in your own language.

ZapLister v1.7.1 includes fixes focused on license activation and situations where publishing failed without a clear message.

• 🔑 Smarter license activation — if your account has more than one license registered, the app now automatically picks the right one: first the one active for this machine, then unassigned ones, and so on. Previously it could get stuck using an expired license.

ZapLister v1.6.1 fixes a bug where certain listings would not be deleted from Facebook Marketplace even though the app reported success.

• 🗑️ Deletion now works for all titles — listings whose title contained special characters like double quotes (e.g. 17" monitor) were silently failing to delete. The app appeared to complete the action but the listing remained on Facebook. This is now fixed.

ZapLister v1.6.0 adds automatic database backups so you can recover your listings if you ever delete something by mistake.

• 💾 Automatic backups on every close — a backup of your database is saved automatically every time you close the app. No setup needed. If nothing changed since the last backup, no extra file is created.
• 📂 Up to 7 backups kept — the app keeps the 7 most recent backups and removes older ones automatically.
• 🔁 Restore from Settings — go to Settings → Backups to see your saved backups by date and restore any of them with one click. The app restarts automatically after restoring.

ZapLister v1.5.0 introduces the ability to renew your Facebook Marketplace listings automatically, along with several improvements to account management.

• 🔄 Renew listings with one click — a new Renew button in the Accounts section lets you renew your active listings on Facebook, resetting the 7-day visibility boost. Works with the All/Selected scope toggle, just like Publish and Delete. If a listing is still within its 7-day cooldown, it's automatically skipped.
• 👤 Smarter account management — the Accounts section now shows a scope toggle (All / Selected) so you can control exactly which listings each action affects. Accounts linked to your license are now kept in sync automatically.
• 🔍 Tooltips on every action button — hovering over any button now shows a short explanation of what it does, so there's no guesswork.
• ✅ Group matching ignores accents — listing groups now match correctly even when keywords have accent differences (e.g. "Carros" matches "Carros").

ZapLister v1.4.1 fixes a crash that could occur when closing the app on Windows.

• 🛠️ No more crash on exit — in some cases, closing the app would trigger an internal error related to the database shutting down twice. This is now resolved and the app closes cleanly every time.

ZapLister v1.4.0 makes it much easier to manage large databases of listings.

• 🔍 Search bar in every module — type anything in the new search box above your Items, Vehicles, or Houses list and results filter instantly as you type. No more endless scrolling to find a specific listing.
• 📊 Filter by status — quickly show only Unselected, Published, or Selected listings using the status dropdown next to the search bar.
• ✅ Smarter Select All — when a filter is active, Select All only affects the visible listings, so you never accidentally select records you weren't looking at.

ZapLister v1.3.0 brings several improvements to keep you better informed and make the app more reliable.

ZapLister v1.1.16 prevents a common issue where vehicles could be saved without all the information Facebook Marketplace requires to publish them.

ZapLister v1.1.15 includes two reliability fixes for common automation issues:

• 🗑️ Listing deletion no longer fails when Facebook removes the listing without asking for confirmation — the app now handles both cases (with and without confirmation dialog) correctly.
• 🚗 Vehicle publishing is more stable — the vehicle type is now selected at the right moment during form filling, reducing failures caused by the page reorganizing while photos are uploading.

ZapLister v1.1.14 fixes a crash that could occur on macOS when you closed the app window but left it running in the Dock. In that state, the app's internal scheduler would stop working and log errors silently. Now the app handles this correctly — it keeps running smoothly in the background until you fully quit it.

ZapLister v1.1.12 makes license activation easier. You can now enter the email you used to purchase on LemonSqueezy — the app will find your license automatically, no need to dig through confirmation emails for the license key.

v1.1.11 added a Manage Subscription button inside the app that links directly to your LemonSqueezy customer portal to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel without contacting support.

ZapLister v1.1.6 makes managing your listings database significantly faster:

ZapLister v1.8.20 comes with a couple of important improvements. One of them is session handling for multi-account licenses. When users switch accounts, they no longer need to log in again as long as the session hasn't expired. This significantly speeds up the posting process, especially when managing multiple accounts. Another improvement is automatic error reporting. This allows me to be notified as soon as something goes wrong, without requiring users to manually send evidence.

ZapLister v1.8.12 comes with major improvements to simplify your work on Facebook Marketplace:

- New image selection system: now you pick images individually for each item.
